This is a great piece of history a  wooden hand coloured dissected puzzle entitled "The Kings of England" it does include the Queens of England as well. All the pieces are presentjust a few knobules missing, which is quite remarkable as this would have been used as an educational toy.
It comes in its original wooden box with a lovely decorated lid with some of the pieces illustrated on the lid. The lid is repaired in two places but works well.
Very colourful. It was published by N Carpenter, c1840.
The box measures 18cm l x 14cm w x 4cm h.
