An antique 19th century Victoria 'Double Sided" dissected puzzle. These puzzles were only known as jigsaws after the advent of the tool.

This puzzle is made of thick pieces of wood and is double sided. All pieces are present, just four of the interlocking knobs are missing. Its in its original mahogany box and the two sides are titled "In pursuit of charity' and "joseph $ his Brethren". These puzzles were made as educational toys.

The box measures 19.5cm w x 25cm l x 6cm h
