This unusual 19th century butter stamp made from sycamore has an unusual stamp to the base  of a heron or crane. Interestingly the butter stamp has J Barret 89 Piccadilly on it. Probably the retail outlet where it was sold in a luxury goods area in London.
It measures 6cm w 7.5cm h.
