A lovely antique treen  19th century well turned boxwood bottle case with its original glass bottle inside. On the underside of the base unusually is stamped  the weight capacity 1 1/2oz. The lid it is stamped H Gilbertson & Sons London. This dates it to around 1884, the company was sold in 1889. Gilbertson was a well known glass maker and sold medical and pharmacy goods.
