A 19th century snuff box in the shape of the barrel. Turned from Fruitwood. The box opens by pushing one of the ends in and out slides the internal compartment for storage of snuff. It has a small shrinkage mark on the rim.
A lovely tactile box measuring 6.8cm h x 3.5cm w at the end.
