This is a very unusual sycamore butter stamp and slapper in the shape of a lollipop.
The circular top is really well carved with a central heart.
The reverse is plain and would have been used as a butter slapper.
There is some references to these lollipop butter stamps originating from Yorkshire and being used for butter and biscuits making for funerals.
