A 19th centiry rosewood bone holder. These were used when carving lamb, towards the base is a screw thread finger piece which would tighten around the lamb bone to make carving easier whilst at the dining table. This one was made in rosewood a good quality piece as it was used in the dining area.
It measures 13cm h x 5.5cm w including the handle.
