A lovely antique fruitwood spoon, similar ones are illustrated in Treen for the Table by Jonathan Levi, described as being UNCOMMON, probably from Wales but some of this particular style are also emerging outside of Wales. A fabulous piece of antique treen.
Great shape with the spoon bowl at an almost horizontal angle.
It measures 12cm for the handle and the bowl is 7.5cm going horizontally.
Late 18th/early 19th century.

The colour and patina are fabulous.
