A very good  19th century Tunbridge Ware circular sewing basket with a swing handle. The base is inlaid with a geometric design, the sides are pleated silk, the rim is again inlaid with a leaf and floral design. The swing handle also has inlaid geometric design.
This sewing basket measures 15cm w x 4cm h excl handle, with the handle 12cm.
