A very nice late 18th/early 19th century antique treen spice muffineer.
The top unscrews for placing your spice/sugar in. These were used for shaking cinnamon on to hot buttered muffins, hence the name muffineers. This antique spice muffins has its lovely original finish a rich nutty colour. It measures approx 15cm in height.
