A mid 1800s puzzle ball box decorated with fourteen carved concentric circle roundels. One of the circlular roundels can be pushed in to release a lidded  box, which would have been used to store coins, sovereigns, snuff, rouge etc  Inside this ball are two old coins from the 1870s and 1880s., presumably the owner used it for storing coins.The ball measures approx 4cm w.
