A very nice 18th century fruit wood pounce pot. Note the perforated, n the shape of a star, saucer shaped top to allow the precious pounce to be reused, by cupping the paper once finished and tipping the excess pounce back into the box.
This pounce pot has a particularly good colour and patina.
It measures 7.5cm h x 8 cm w,
