An early 19th century antique muffineer turned from sycamore. The top unscrews for placing your spice/sugar in. These were used for shaking cinnamon on to hot buttered muffins, hence the name muffineers.
Original colour and patina. A great piece of antique treen.

It measures approx 15cm in height, base diameter 4.8cm.
