A 19th century knitting sheath with glass panel behind which is a hand written verse, dated 1846, decorated with criss cross lines to back and with a chain. Interesting piece of Folk Art. The verse says "Though my heart be ever so small. It's too small to divide into two so hear my love, take it all for it loved none but you. William Atkinson 10th April 1846.
