This is a lovely Georgian knitting sheath. It would have been given as a love token it is a very bright, cheerful and decorative  example of a knitting sheets in excellent condition. This one is inlaid with  a heart,  geometric dots, rectangles and  diamonds and has a carved scroll end.

There are three window panels with  1794, initials A.R and an inscription finishing you(rse) if/it free.
