This is a lovely 19th century tape measure, beautifully made from segments of triangular fruitwood and rosewood giving a contrasting appearance this has been even done on the base, a real sign of quality.  The screw top lid has a finial which can be turned to move the measure in and out. The first section of the tape measure has been lost but there is plenty of the tape measue left.

It measures approx 3.7cm h including the finial x 3cm w at the lid.
