An interesting, mid to late 1800's, probably Scandinavian, ink decorated treen wood fish shaped snuff box. Note the fish tail becomes a bird’s head with an open beak. The snuff box is decorated in pen work with snakes and foliage. The lid is hinged. It has developed a good color and patina. There is an old repair to the tail.
It measures approx 14cm w x  6cm h.
