A  19th century Scottish snuff box, attributed to blind or visually impaired Scottish folk carvers who crafted them by touch, creating distinctive, high-relief folk-art depictions.  in the manner of Blind Jack of Ayrshire.

This  Scottish Blind Man's table snuff box, traditionally carved from sycamore or similar native wood.
The central figure is a hunter or highlander sculpted in full traditional Highland dress, complete with a distinct kilt, sporran, and crosshatched tunic lines.
 He is  carrying a deer or stag draped over his shoulders, gripping its legs firmly. A loyal hunting hound is carved sitting faithfully at his feet.
