An early to mid 1800s Rosewood stationery box with a small mother of pearl label on the top saying envelopes. The hexagonal six sided shaped lid slopes downwards. There is a mother of pearl escuthcheon.The inside is graduated into six sections, for various sizes of stationery. They are lined with paper. The original purple velvet lining to the base of the box still remains.

The box measures 22cm w at the back x 13cm h x  14cm d.
