This 19th century snuff box is full of surprises. First the lid on one side slides outwards to reveal a motto 'You're a trivky chap - take a pinch of snuff then find the little stiffun'. The next section slides down and off to reveal a small ebony coffin, the drawer on the side of this smaller coffin,  pulls out to reveal a figural  wooden man with moving parts.
To access the snuff turn the snuff box up the other way and the  swivel sideways.
The snuff box measures 8cm l x 2.7cm h.
