This early 1800s Tunbridge Ware reel box is decorated with flowers on the lid, enclosed in a border. There is a little ribbon tab to lift open the box. Inside are compartments for the different reels. Note on the onside are three small holes which the thread would be pulled through when in use. This keeps the threads  from tangling.
The box measures 13cm w x 9cm d x 5cm h.
