This is a lovely example of a Georgian mahogany cheese coaster. It has well turned handles and roundels to  each of the ends.
A great feature is that it still retains its original leather coated brass castors.
There are no splits to the wood, it is really nice mellow colour.
The cheese coaster measures 44cm w at the widest part x 20cm h x 24cm d.
These were used to put cheese and bread in, and would have been slid down the dining table.
They make a great piece for fruit, nuts or as  a flower display.
