A very unusual ash wood double threaded medicine flask, brass bound for added protection. The top unscrews for holding the glass beaker which it still retains, it has a small chip to the edge of the glass, and then the neck unscrews to reveal the glass bottle, (hairline crack to part of the body). Very unusual size, being brass bound and being turned in ash wood. Lovely colour and patina. It measures  22.5cm h x 7cm w.Victorian C1860
