A late 1700s circular spice box with a screw top lid to keep the spices stored inside airtight. The interior has a divided interior for four different spices. Illustrated and described in Dr Reckless's book on nutmeg graters and spice boxes as "A four sectioned English spice box mid 18th century/early 19th century'.
