This lovely early 1800s mahogany box is veneered with flame mahogany. It has painted flowers  on the lid and painted ribbons and flowers on the front. There is a drawer to the base which is unlocked via a brass  pin on the inside. The edges have boxwood stringing.
The box measures 22cm w x 13cm d x 9cm h.
It would make a good sewing, jewellery, stationery or games box.
