This is a lovely box made in the shape of a house. Both ends slide upwards for access inside. Currently there are some old pieces of book spine covers stored inside.
There is chip carved decoration, roundels with flowers inside and on the base is a date 1814.
This little house measures 10cm w x 10cm h x 7cm d.
A real piece of Folk Art. Probably Scandinavian.
