A small antique muffineer illustrated in the Treen for the Table book by Jonathan Levi page 90, top row. Described as having a rounded body, short stem and domed foot. It has a very good nutty colour and nice pattern to the sprinkling holes. These items were used for sprinkling sugar or spice onto hot muffins hence the name muffineer. It measures approx 12.5cm in height. A very nice piece of antique treen.

A Levi collection label to the base.
