A small 19th century dresser or candle stool.
These small stools were reputed to have been made with bits of wood left over from making Windsor chairs. The stool would have sat on a dresser or mantle piece. An object or a candle could have been placed on top of it for display.
This example has very nicely turned fruitwood legs.
It measures 12cm w at the widest part x 9cm h.
