A small 19thC botanist’s lacquered brass microscope. It comes in a Mahogany box into which the microscope completely folds away. When in use, it screws onto the lid of the box. It contains tweezers, a bone slider, a white disc, and stage forceps. There is a small mirror below the stage to focus light on to specimens. There are a few other parts in the box including a simple microscope and an objective lens which aren’t original to the box. Lovely decorative piece.
