An unusual 19th century Mahogany Apothecary Cabinet fully fitted. The cabinet is hinged on the sides so both doors open out fully. This reveals fifteen glass bottles, one looks to be a replacement but fits well, some still have old labels on. The labels that remain all appear to be from Leeds pharmacy's, in particular Timothy Whites & Tayler a dispensing chemist on Austhorpe Road, Crossgates Leeds.
Below the main central section is a drawer containing scales, weights, a glass pestle and mortar, and some further small glass bottles with contents.
There are two further small drawers in each of the doors, both fitted with the original metal canisters.
The cabinet has a brass carrying handle which sits flush when not in use and has one working key.
It measures 21cm w x 21cm d x 22cm h
