A small 19th century mahogany boxed alphabet set.
There are a complete set of 26 bone letters housed in the box. The box has a sliding chamfered lid with a bone inset tile ABC.
This little box would have been used as an educational tool to learn to read and write the alphabet.
The box measures 7cm w x 5cm d x 3.2cm h.
