This is a rare survivor and antique Georgian educational puzzle, teaching children about the value of shillings and pence and also time.

Each piece of the puzzle has a picture from a bee hive to a duck, soldier, bird, deer etc. and an amount in pence at the top of the piece which is then converted to shillings at the bottom.  The bottom corner piece has time calculations.

Each piece is present and is in the original box with a label on the front with a lady giving the game to the children. and the words 'A New Pence Table neatly difsected' note the word DISSECTED is spelt DIFSECTED with the use of the 'f' rather than the s which dates this piece to the late 1700s. A rare piece with lovely illustations.
