They don't come much better than this early 1800s bread stamp. Canoe/ Boat shaped with a turned handle. The base is intricately carved with triangles, hearts and a cross, the decoration goes all the way around the sides.
This stamp would have been used to stamp the bread dough when bread was cooked in communal ovens.
It measures 10.5cm l x 4cm w.
