A rare early 19th century Tunbridge Ware whitewood painted pocket scroll tablet. Darton's pocket tablet is carried in this, the finial at the top winds the pages in and out. There are a couple of hairline cracks but they are not moving. It measures approx 10.5cm h x 4.3cm w. A very unusual piece.C1820
