An antique snuff box in the form of a small grandfather clock carved from oak. The front has a brass clock face engraved with numbers, slightly tanished. To the back a sliding lid and the initials H F and dated 1840.  A really unusually shaped snuff box, maybe belonging to a clockmaker?
 
It measures 8.5cm h x 2.5cm w x 1.8cm d.
