A really unusual pair of mahogany money boxes which belonged to a husband and wife. The boxes have two slots in the sliding lid for two different sizes of coins.The lids slide off to reveal a divided interior. These boxes belonged to a husband and wife and have written on them in ink William Brent 17 August 1848 and on the other Mary Brent 17 August 1848.

They measure 17.5cm l x 7.5cm d x 7.5cm h
