This is a large very well carved  Black Forest Owl, sitting on a circular base.
The owl itself has piercing glass eyes with a beak and carved shaped feathers running down the whole. The head is hinged for storage inside. There is also an open container on the base for storage of matches, tapers etc. There is an old repair to a split at the front of the owl but is not very visible.
The owl measures 26cm h x 16 cm w.
