This is a Georgian mahogany tea chest dating from around 1770's
 with the added feature of having a secret drawer incorporated into the chest.
The secret drawer is found on the right hand side of the box, the whole of the side slides up and a drawer can then be pulled out. 
It still retains its original brass escutheon and brass swan neck handle.
This box measures 23.5cm w x 17cm h x 13cm d.
