This is a very unusual cow herds cup. It is carved with cow heads around the top and has a carved dog shaped handle, which is also a whistle to call the dogs, whilst rounding up the cows.
On the base is inscribed “ Jean Marie Cruxe 1811’. It has a lovely colour and patina as well as being a really unusual piece.
It measures 15.5cm w from the handle x 6.5cm h.
