A late 18th/early 19th century misers pressed wood snuff box. Lid is decorated with a hunting scene which has worn with handling through age.and various smaller individual pictures of deer, stars and birds with hearts. The lid swivels around revealing a gap which only allows people to take a pinch of snuff hence the name misers snuff box
